On the 10th of June, two of our pupils were invited to Aberdeen University to receive certificates for winning gold and silver awards in the Scottish Mathematical Council maths challenges.
The theme of this year’s presentation and activities was ‘On really big numbers’ and pupils and their families were entertained and educated at the same time!
Congratulations to Charlotte Thompson S2 for her Gold award and Roni Brady S2 for achieving Silver, both in the Junior competition.
A big congratulations also to our Bronze winners who will be receiving their certificates shortly. These pupils were:
Junior: Lewis Russell S2, Sulafah Ahmed S2, Charlene Yeung S3
Intermediate: Micah Macdonald S4
