The Early Learning and Childcare class had great fun this morning carving pumpkins. This linked in to our topic on Play where we learn all about how play supports children’s development. The students did a great job in putting their theory into action.
We’re thrilled to share with you the S2 pupils that have been selected by their science teacher as Science Stars for term 1! These young scientists have shown great curiosity, dedication, and achievement in their studies. From excellent effort to perfect homework exercises and kindness to all. Those selected really have gone above and beyond!
S1-S3 pupils were recognised for their exceptional performance in ICT/Business during Term One. The Business Brains award is given to one student per class by their teacher, making it a significant achievement. Well done to all the winners and keep up the hard work!
We are delighted to show off these aerial shots of the new astro pitch and outdoor Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA). Both facilities will be open for use after the October half-term. These facilities will help further increase the quality and quantity of PE, sport and activity at the school and allow us to offer an increased range of sporting experiences, including hockey and tennis, as well as after school fixtures under the floodlights. If there are any sports clubs in the area that are interested in promoting their sport/activity through the PE curriculum and/or getting involved in our extra-curricular activities at the school then please get in touch.
There is a new housing development going into Barn Church Road and as part of it the Developers are designing a park, which they would really like your opinions on. There is a one question online form for you to complete to help influence the design of the park. Please take this opportunity to influence your local community. The form will be live until the end of term.
