Our National Geography pupils had a great field trip to the Cairngorm Ski Arealast week to collect data for their upcoming assignments.
It wasn’t just about data collection though, the pupils got to experience their classroom learning in real life by checking out the amazing glaciated scenery firsthand. They also got an informative talk from the local park ranger, learning all about different land use conflicts in the area and the strategies used to manage them.
To top off a brilliant day we had a surprise trip up the funicular railway. The views from the top were stunning.
