Scottish Education- updated position Sunday 22nd March

Following the update this afternoon from Nicola Sturgeon, it is clear that the advice regarding Covid-19 has now changed. We have been told that with immediate effect no young person should attend school to complete coursework. The SQA will be updating their guidance very soon and as soon as the position has been clarified, we will update you again.

Students must not come to school at all unless they are collecting their free school meal, essential medication or a digital device. The school will be open to allow this between 11 and 2 and processes will be in place to ensure social distancing- please work with us. What is clear is that everyone should refrain from going out, unless it is essential. I have been informed that some of our young people have ignored all the advice and were playing football in the school grounds today. This must not be repeated- lives are at stake.
